Care Instructions & Tips

In order to clean and care for suspenders, we recommend gently hand washing the webbing while taking special care not to get the waist attachments wet. It's important to note that it's critical to be gentle when washing and to do it as little as possible. This will help maintain the durability of the webbing and extend the overall longevity of the suspender.

Steps for Handwashing:

  1. Fill a sink with warm water.
  2. Add a mild detergent to the water.
  3. Gently wash the webbing.
  4. Rinse with cool water.
  5. Allow the webbing to line dry. Do NOT put your suspenders in the dryer.
  6. If the leather ends or clips get wet, simply towel dry or use a hair dryer to ensure no rusting or discoloration occurs.

Additional Tips:

  • We never recommend washing your suspenders in a washing machine, but if you feel inclined, please place them in a mesh bag, wash on gentle cycle, use cool water with mild detergent (no bleach), and always line dry.
  • Stain remover pens (or a similar product) work great on small spots or blemishes.
  • Leather ends can be cleaned using a leather cleaner product to maintain their natural sheen and durability.
